Great Qin: The Sky Screen Appears, and Fusu, the Second Emperor, Stirs the Storm

In the twenty-sixth year of King Zheng of Qin, the realm had only just been unified. This should have marked the beginning of a golden age for the Great Qin, but a mysterious sky screen from a parallel world suddenly appeared.

The sky screen showed two vastly different versions of Fusu, stirring up a tremendous uproar.

Ying Zheng raised his eyes to the sky screen. The Fusu depicted there had achieved extraordinary feats, far surpassing even himself. He was celebrated through the ages and remembered for generations to come, and had even earned the supreme acclaim of “the one and only Taizong throughout all eternity.”

Then he turned to look at the Prince Fusu beside him, who had died unjustly because of a false imperial edict. His heart was a tangle of emotions, and he could not help wondering whether it might be possible to communicate with the sky screen and trade for a son as dazzling as the one shown there, so the glory of the Great Qin could endure and forge an even more immortal legend.
