The Bedchamber Concubine

I am the young lady's dowry maid.

The heir of the Liu family proposed to her.

But I heard that the heir, Young Master Liu, was bedridden with illness and too weak to even truss a chicken.

So the young lady sent me ahead to test the waters.

But after I went, it was a full three days before I was sent back.

I clung to the edge of the bed and begged on my knees: Young Master, please spare this servant.

The young master's expression was calm, without the slightest trace of illness.

"That's it?"

"Don't be afraid, good girl."
