Lin Hai, a fine young man of the 21st century: lazy, greedy, unreasonable, and thoroughly rotten. His greatest hobbies were smoking, drinking, and playing cards. His day job was cheating and swindling people.

But if you spend enough time walking by the river, sooner or later your shoes will get wet. Lin Hai got conned and ended up with a bizarre ancient book, which described an evil god so terrifying that people trembled at the mere mention of it.

Still panicking before bed, Lin Hai muttered that he’d sell the unlucky book to some idiot for a high price tomorrow. He never expected to wake up transmigrated to another world.

He had also become a disciple of a cultivation sect.

Staring at the ancient god in his hands, which was clearly drawn in a Western style, Lin Hai was utterly dumbfounded.

While he was still reeling, the ancient book began to dance merrily
