The Dao is not the Way of the Immortals, and Buddhism is not Buddhahood. There is only the mind.

Those who cultivate the Dao seek to become immortals, while those who practice Buddhism seek to become Buddhas. Both are merely deluded attachments.

Become a lone boat, neither ferrying others nor bearing a sail or oar. Drift with the waves and go wherever the wind takes you.
