After a nuclear war, a new virus ravages Blue Star. Countless people die, and nine out of every ten homes lie empty. The virus was not released by accident: it was part of a human-cleansing plan deliberately launched by an extreme restorationist who wanted to seize the few resources left on Blue Star.
This is an apocalypse story caused by a virus, unlike the disaster-driven and zombie apocalypses of the past. In this novel, humanity’s greatest enemy is itself.
The heroine goes through a period of emotional growth in the apocalypse, so she may seem conflicted at first. This is not the kind of story that starts off thrilling right away. No romance.
This book is well written. At the end of the world, you should buy supplies from abroad to save your compatriots, save their waists, not their legs. Work hard and update more.
