"Love Breaks in Changchun" Contents Introduction
The novel captures the specific historical moment of August 15, 1945, when Japanese imperialism announced its unconditional surrender and the Soviet Red Army captured Changchun. It focuses on the special life experiences of Liang Quanjiang, Liu Jianhui and others who were fourth-year students at Jianguo University in Xinjing Special City (Changchun City) of the Puppet Manchukuo State.
They were once patriotic intellectuals who resisted the barbaric invasion of our country by Japanese imperialism. However, on the eve of the new era, they used the power they had in their hands to face the critical juncture of houses, money, and women's lives. How did they behave? Did these things arouse the ugliest desires in their hearts? This is the story told in the novel.
The story of this book is full of twists and turns and is exciting. This book also explores and describes the specific historical period when the puppet Manchukuo collapsed and the Soviet Red Army occupied Changchun. It also gives a more or less introduction to Northeastern Changchun during that period.
