Li Xingruo disguises herself as a man and joins an escort agency to investigate a massacre, but the chief escort, Song Wenxi, genuinely mistakes her for a young male servant.
When the chief escort realizes he's fallen for his “male servant,” things get very interesting.
Before he finds out she's a woman: “Li Daring, go get my forty-meter broadsword, then practice your punches for five hours, and shovel the horse manure while you're at it!”
After he finds out she's a woman: “Ruo'er, how can you carry something as heavy as a bowl yourself? Put it down. Your husband will feed you...”
