Myriad Worlds: The Contract Killer

Xiang You, a world-famous contract killer, is chosen by the flop System of a washed-up master and dies for no apparent reason.

Forced by the System, he begins taking on assassination contracts across the myriad worlds.

In an ancient Chinese imperial capital, he must kill the emperor. Weapon selection in progress... Weapon selected: Ruyi.

In an extremely advanced future world, he must kill the commander of a powerful interstellar fleet. Weapon selection in progress... Weapon selected: The Book of Seven Arrows.

In a world teeming with demons and monsters, he must kill an unparalleled great demon. Weapon selection in progress... Weapon selected: Desert Eagle.

All he can say is that the System is impressive, but not very helpful. Every contract he takes is harder than the last, and Xiang You can't help wondering whether the washed-up master grabbed him just to put him through torture and enjoy watching him suffer.
