In 2050, technology has reached extraordinary heights, and brain-computer interfaces have become available to everyone. People in cities can connect directly to virtual networks through their brains to work, study, and enjoy themselves. However, an abnormal solar flare triggers a worldwide disruption of brain waves, causing strange mutations in some people’s brains and granting them superpowers beyond ordinary understanding. These people become known as Brainworlders. Our protagonist, Lin Yu, is a young man who unexpectedly awakens a special brain power. His life is turned upside down as he is swept into a crisis and adventure that will determine the fate of the entire city and perhaps all of humanity.
