The Broken Boy and the Demon King with a Boy-Loving Fetish

(Another world + light novel + no heroine + original adventure + healing humor + no System + a little angst + slow burn)

When the devout are slain by holy light, a blasphemer becomes the only hope.

Fourteen-year-old Yaen died. It was an utterly ordinary death, without the slightest ripple, right outside the chapel where he had prayed with all his heart.

The spear of light that pierced his chest came from the “Supreme Holy Light,” the highest will sung of by bards and worshipped by all.

Even as he lay dying, he could not understand why the holy light, which was supposed to protect all living beings equally, could not even hear the desperate plea of an ordinary boy.

That was when Lufu appeared.

A ridiculous ball with black mist leaking from its cracks, it called itself “a being above the gods,” yet it spun in circles whenever it tried to float faster.

It claimed to have once torn the world apart and been the source of calamity, but all Yaen saw was this fellow grumbling and mocking everything in the world while using black mist to stitch his shattered heart back together.

“Are you the Demon King?”

“Of course. The kind who stands above everything.”

“Then you must have the power to rule all things and magic that can do anything, right?”

“...How about I bring you good luck instead?”
