I Became a Dating Show Producer

As a producer of film and television adaptations, I spend my days moving between all kinds of stories, witnessing countless characters experience joy and sorrow. Yet among all those characters and stories, one pairing shines like a dazzling star and has captured my heart: the Chen Yu CP.

The Chen Yu CP came about through the convergence and collision of different fictional worlds. Yang Jiachen has deep-set eyes that seem to conceal endless stories and secrets. His cool, commanding presence is apparent in every movement, inspiring awe while making people eager to learn more about him. Lin Wanyu, meanwhile, is like the warm spring sun. Her radiant smile can chase away any gloom, and her lively eyes brim with love for life and hope for the future.

I first noticed them during a crossover project linking a historical drama with a modern one. In the historical drama, Yang Jiachen was a chivalrous hero who cared deeply for the world, shouldering a mission and a grudge as he fought his way through the martial world. Lin Wanyu was a talented artist in the modern drama, full of curiosity and imagination, using her paintbrush to depict the beauty she saw in her heart. The two had nothing to do with each other, until we carefully arranged for their paths to cross in a special episode. When Yang Jiachen accidentally transmigrated to a modern city street on horseback and locked eyes with Lin Wanyu, who was sketching by the roadside, it was as if time itself had stopped. A wondrous feeling filled the air.

In the storyline we later created especially for them, I witnessed so many beautiful moments. Yang Jiachen began learning to adapt to modern life, while Lin Wanyu patiently stayed by his side and showed him this strange new world.
