Five years ago, a fog appeared on the southern outskirts of Fenglai County. Everyone who entered it mysteriously disappeared. Today, the fog has returned, and Li Xing is the only one found unconscious by the roadside.
Sun Guoqing is a police officer investigating the fog incident, and also one of its victims: his wife and daughter disappeared in the fog five years ago. He can hardly wait to get some clues from Li Xing.
When Li Xing wakes up, he looks completely bewildered by the police’s questions. He has to be told why he’s in the hospital, so how could he possibly give the police any clues?
He thinks that once this is over, he’ll be able to return to a normal life. But who could have known that the fog’s appearance was only the beginning of a terrifying disaster?
A mysterious, unfathomable power awakens within Li Xing: the power of Word Spirits. When he speaks certain words, he can control the things around him with this power. Where did it come from, and why did it choose him?
Meanwhile, as Sun Guoqing investigates, he gradually uncovers a mysterious organization that has remained hidden for years. This organization seems to have countless connections to Li Xing.
As the truth slowly comes to light, a vast conspiracy that threatens the survival of all humanity also begins to take shape!
In this race against time to save the world, can Li Xing, Sun Guoqing, and the others unravel the mystery behind the fog and save the world?
