[Two male leads + top + revenge + powerful figures + fated destinies + devoted couple + morally ambiguous + unconventional righteous leads, with no overpowered protagonist]
[A dangerously unhinged, dual-personality powerhouse x a righteous young master who plays the fool to fool his enemies]
Mo Zichen, a graduate student from the 21st century, unexpectedly transmigrates into the body of a chosen Death-aspected cultivator. After his uncle establishes the Eternal Night, he becomes its young lord. Born under the fate of a calamity star, he brings disaster to everyone around him.
Reborn, Shen Xingzhe retains the memories of his previous life. Born under the fate of a lone star of doom, he brings death to every living person around him. Except for his elder brother, Mo Zichen, all his other relatives must keep their distance. He pretends to be a fool until the age of fifteen, but after meeting Zichen, he decides to drop the act and roam the martial world with his brother!
A divine fortune-teller has also made this prophecy: “When the four fated ones appear, the Calamity Star, the Breaker of Armies, the Seven Killings, and the Greedy Wolf, the realm will fall into chaos and dynasties will change.”
In a chaotic age, rival factions stir up trouble, while a treasure hidden in the former dynasty’s dragon vein is said to “eat people.” In the end, where will the two of them go?
Zichen: “I have no regrets about vanquishing evil and demons, though no one can walk beside me when I look back.”
Xingzhe: “Who says no one will walk beside you? In this life, I belong to you alone...”
