The protagonist is a modern historian who accidentally transmigrates into the river of history and becomes a special “Imperial Tutor,” advising emperors from different dynasties.
• He knows the history of China’s five thousand years inside out, but after transmigrating, he discovers that every dynasty contains “hidden variables.” History does not unfold exactly as the books say, so he cannot rely entirely on what he already knows and must adapt to the circumstances of each era.
After completing his mission in one dynasty, he “dies,” and his soul transmigrates to the next dynasty to begin again.
• He travels through the orthodox dynasties of Chinese history, from the Shang and Zhou to the Qin, Han, Three Kingdoms, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing. Each experience may change the course of history.
• He has no System or golden finger. He can only rely on modern knowledge, logical reasoning, and the experience he builds up through each new life.
The writing style is fine, but some parts of it cannot stand up to scrutiny if it is divorced from history and forced to write about power and strategy. I am afraid of going to the streets and fighting without mentioning the number of soldiers, which makes it uncomfortable to read.
