A dangerously unhinged Southeast Asian crime lord X a performatively fickle heroine
[Clear-eyed surrender + evenly matched + both willing to yield for love]
[The hero wants to force her into love, but ends up being forced into love by the heroine]
She plays the pig to eat the tiger in the beginning, then they join forces as equals.
Everyone in Thailand knows that whether you’re in the underworld or on the straight and narrow, you must never provoke Zhou the Madman. He follows no rules, is wildly arrogant, and when he loses it, he doesn’t care if he lives or dies.
He is the dreaded uncrowned king.
Even his own father gets blasted with a cannon if he happens to be in a bad mood.
“See that woman hiding behind Zhou the Madman, crying like a baby? She’s his weakness. Kill her!” ordered a small-time boss.
But his men returned covered in injuries, saying in terror, “Zhou the Madman’s weakness is even tougher than he is!”
Qiao Yuyan approaches Zhou Yuanjin to complete her mission, playing up her vulnerability to win his favor and scheming at every turn. She thinks her disguise is flawless, and in fact it is. But the problem is that Zhou Yuanjin has had his eye on her for three years. The stunning impression she made on him the first time they met meant the infamous madman could never forget her.
“Done pretending?” the madman asks, calm and casual.
Qiao Yuyan blows out a ring of smoke. “Master Jin, you’re the one with the acting skills. Why didn’t you expose me?”
“For fun.”
People are stubborn.
But if one day a person with a heart of stone willingly changes for someone, then they must love that person to the core.
That’s true of Zhou Yuanjin, and of Qiao Yuyan too.
Love makes two selfish people yield to each other.
(Set in the same world as No Hope for Freedom. This is a fictional world, entirely made up. Any resemblance is pure coincidence.)
It's really good. I don't know why no one has read it, but it's really, really good to read. I really like to read the novels about the two strong men in the vest, but I think this book is very good and very attractive to me. I recommend everyone to read it.
It's good-looking and the male protagonist is full of sexual tension. Sihasha 😳 The male and female protagonists are evenly matched. Go, go, go!
