Love Poems in Shattered Light

(Told in the first person by the male protagonist, Song Mo. The story covers his student years and includes some painful content, as well as yuri and the stories of several couples.)

One night, Song Mo meets Tang Xiaoxi, who is all alone. After learning what she has been through, he cares for her at every turn, sharing her laughter and tears.

Their unintentional words and accidental touches make their hearts race and their faces flush. Later, their deliberate words and touches help them understand how they feel about each other.

When Tang Xiaoxi is at her most vulnerable, Song Mo holds her tight and gives her warmth.

Song Mo’s illness deals Tang Xiaoxi another crushing blow. She stays by his side through it all, and after he recovers, they hold each other close and lament the unfairness of fate.

Letters reveal a family bond that has been buried for years, pushing Tang Xiaoxi to the brink of collapse. Song Mo, who has always been there for her, helps her understand the meaning of love.

The supporting characters’ romances and life experiences are another highlight of this book.
