When Minglong was still a player, she entered an SSS-rank solo instance. After failing to clear it, she was corrupted by an anomaly and became the lord of the instance “Death Cathedral.”
When Minglong became the instance lord, Blue Star outside the instance underwent earth-shattering changes.
After a long time had passed, Minglong suddenly remembered her days as a player for some unknown reason and regained her sense of self. However, her restored mind was split between human perception and anomalous perception.
In her anomalous state, Minglong dealt with the players who had been selected for her instance. The System, which had suddenly started spewing garbled code, counted her as a player and sent her back to Blue Star.
As soon as she returned to Blue Star, before she could even get her bearings, the System selected her and pulled her into the B-rank instance Nightfall Hotel.
The instance’s clear condition was to find the culprit and ensure they received their just punishment
- Minglong with human perception: Clues, rules, cooperation...
- Minglong with anomalous perception: Hahaha, you can all die! If everyone dies, the instance will be cleared!
(The System glitches later on and sometimes pulls the protagonist into instances in the role of an anomaly.)
