A Female Tycoon’s Happy Everyday Life

This is a story recalled by an ancient woman on her deathbed: a “memoir” of the happy memories she shared with her family, and a “memoir” of her life with her husband, which she still holds dear. Some readers may find the story dull, and some parts may not make sense, because it is told from the heroine’s perspective and so much of the plot revolves around her. I hope you enjoy it 🤗 Jing Yuyan is the daughter of the only prince in the Great Yue with a different surname from the imperial house, and a princess adored by all. From childhood, she was the model for the noblewomen of the capital. Besides mastering the four arts of the zither, chess, calligraphy, and painting, she also knows medicine and martial arts, and has a head for business. Everyone knows she is betrothed to the Crown Prince, the God of War, and that they grew up together, but no one knows that behind her carefully disguised exterior, she hides another identity: the master of Yueyulou. The common people cheer for her, but the powerful fear her, and even the imperial families treat her with respect and keep their distance. Yue is the imperial surname of the Great Yue, yet no one objects to Yueyulou using it. In fact, many envy the establishment for bearing the imperial surname. It is also a place many women dream of joining, since most of its members are women. Rumor has it that Yueyulou’s master is a woman, but nobody knows who she is or has seen her face, so people guess that the master is a middle-aged woman. After Jing Yuyan marries the Crown Prince, Yue Beiyi, the emperor of the Great Yue is plotted against by another country and dies. Not long after Yue Beiyi ascends the throne, they have a son and a daughter, and enjoy many years of happiness. But then an unexpected war breaks out, and Yue Beiyi dies. The heroine becomes the Empress Dowager and rules from behind the curtain. During this time, her identity as the master of Yueyulou is exposed, along with many other secrets...
