A Week Before the Wedding, I Married My Childhood Friend Instead

A week before our wedding, I found a plane ticket hidden in my fiancé Chu Yichen's drawer.

I thought he was planning a surprise for me, but that evening, all I got was a message saying he had to go on a business trip.

Unable to sleep, I scrolled past a post from his mentor's daughter:

[Thank you, my dear Chen, for donating sperm when I was at my most helpless. I can finally have a baby of my own.]

The attached photo showed an ultrasound image with her and Chu Yichen making a heart shape beneath the aurora.

I didn't cry or message him to demand an explanation. Instead, I posted on my feed:

[I'm getting married in a week and want to swap grooms. Anyone interested?]
