Li Minqing used to be an ordinary person. After dying of old age, he opened his eyes to find himself in the Terminator universe, in an era when the Legion System ruled the future after Dark Fate.
Forced to survive in the wasteland and scavenge for years, Li Minqing was unlucky enough to be captured by the Legion when his new body was twenty-three. He became a living reference subject for experiments on the REV-9 infiltrator Terminator.
Just as expected, he died again.
But this time, the world still wasn't going to let him go...
A cross-dimensional System called Infinite chose him. Li Minqing would have to compete or cooperate with other chosen ones across infinite worlds to protect his precious, one and only home.
The silver lining was that Li Minqing had at least one more golden finger than the others: he also had an extra System that would occasionally exchange items for unexpectedly powerful equipment.
Until he discovered that the items being exchanged had started to include terrifying thermite men, red-robed little guys with red-hot tempers, and some sort of self-repairing living metal...
"Wait, what kind of System is this?!"
