In a world gripped by an apocalyptic disaster, cities have become silent ruins, and a virus has swept across the globe like a demon. Most of humanity was infected in the catastrophe and turned into mindless, walking corpses. Lin Yue, a resolute and courageous mother, holds tightly to the hand of her young daughter, Tangtang, as they struggle on alone through this shattered world.
Lin Yue carries a heavy backpack containing the last of their food and water, and grips an old but sharp long knife. Tangtang's small frame stays close behind her mother, her clear eyes full of fear and unease.
