Hong Ze transmigrated to 1127, during the Southern Song’s resistance against the Jin, and found himself among a group of Song people being taken captive.
The Northern Song’s princes, ministers, palace maids, and consorts were suffering, and the Emperors Huizong and Qinzong had lost their former glory.
Relying on modern knowledge and strategy, Hong Ze began as a refugee and gradually reformed society.
He gathered many talented people, built up his power, and founded a nation.
Along the way, independent women such as Zang Yao supported and admired him. He also had to contend with schemes from his enemies, writing his own legend in an age of dynastic transition.
