The Iron Great Wall

The first novel to tell the story of armored forces in the War of Resistance in a true-to-life timeline, lifting the veil on China’s tank troops during the war!

Did our forces have only millet and rifles during the War of Resistance? Were tanks and armored cars luxuries available only to the other side? Like most people, have you held fast to the idea that only infantry fought in that war to defend our homeland? This book will show you that the truth was different. China once assembled a formidable tank force. Its brave tank crews drove an assortment of vehicles from around the world into countless desperate battles against the invaders. They dealt the enemy heavy blows, but paid an enormous price themselves. Their story includes the helplessness of the first battle in Shanghai, the tragedy of the breakout from Nanjing, the frustration of the Battle of Lanfeng, the triumph of victory at Kunlun Pass, and the exhilaration of the great counteroffensive in northern Burma...

They grew from weakness to strength, and from defeat to victory. None of the major storylines in this book is fictional; they are all drawn from remarkable events that really happened. Following the true story of China’s tank forces in the War of Resistance, this book takes you through the indelible contributions of this heroic group in the war to defend their homeland. This book is dedicated to the anniversary of the victory in the World Anti-Fascist War!
