The story takes place in a medium-sized coastal city. Lin Yu (originally named Lin Feng) attends one of the city’s top high schools, where the atmosphere is intense but still brimming with youthful energy.
The story shifts between two lives: in her first life, Lin Feng is a high school boy who dies in a car accident; in her second, she is reborn as a girl named Lin Yu. It focuses on her journey as she reclaims her youth and high school life, and on her growth through the complicated bonds she forms with her family, friends, and lover.
