Long-Planned: Becoming CEO Lin's Obsession

[Mutual Firsts + Unhinged Male Lead + Long-Planned Romance + Some Angst (The Female Lead Has Cancer; Avoid If This Is Not for You!)]

On the day Mu Nanzhi was diagnosed with stage-three stomach cancer, her fiancé's romance with her sweet little sister became a trending topic.

She had not only been betrayed by her sister, but also by the man she'd loved for seven years.

Her parents didn't like her, and her fiancé had betrayed her. If she wanted to survive, she could only turn to the man who still had the slightest interest in her: Lin Yanzhou.

Lin Yanzhou, heir to the Lin family, wielded immense power in Yucheng, but was cruel, sinister, and cold.

Mu Nanzhi went to Lin Yanzhou, and that very night signed a five-year kept-woman contract.

By day, she was Lin Yanzhou's girlfriend; by night, she was his canary, there for his amusement.

Mu Nanzhi always thought Lin Yanzhou had chosen her to play his girlfriend for the sake of his true love.

But she didn't know that the first time Lin Yanzhou saw the pure and lovely Mu Nanzhi, back in ninth grade, he'd already fallen for her. His love had remained buried deep in his heart ever since.

She also didn't know that during that trip to the snowy mountains, the one who braved the freezing wind and snow to rescue her wasn't Fu Hansong. It was Lin Yanzhou.

At the height of his love for Mu Nanzhi, Lin Yanzhou planned to give her a grand proposal, but then he got a call from the hospital.

Mu Nanzhi had no family, and she had listed him as her emergency contact.

He couldn't understand why fate wouldn't give him the chance to take care of her.

He wouldn't let her die. Even if it cost him everything, he would do whatever it took to save her.

In the operating room, Mu Nanzhi heard Lin Yanzhou's heartbroken sobs. She suddenly reached out her little hand and grabbed his, her eyes red and wet with tears as she pleaded. Cold sweat kept breaking out across her forehead, and she said, word by word, "Please, save me. I want to live..."
