I Transmigrated to the Republic of China and Became a Police Cat

[Alternate Setting + Suspense + Supernatural]

Hua Jiangli is a black-and-white cat with jet-black fur and four snow-white paws.

Thanks to her sharp wits and keen instincts, she repeatedly uncovers clues at crime scenes, and is recruited as a consultant for the Lucheng Police Station.

This police cat consultant, affectionately nicknamed Stepping on Snow to Find Plum Blossoms, is hugely popular in Lucheng. Letters arrive at the station in snowy heaps, along with countless snacks.

In the police station captain’s office, the cat, exhausted after a long night, curls up on the sofa and snores away.

Police chief Jiang Shanglu walks in, grabs the back of the cat’s neck, and gives her a shake.

“Stop playing dead. Did you sneak off while chasing the suspect last night?”

With a bang, the police cat turns into a person.

Hua Jiangli lazily yawns. “You’re so loud. Don’t disturb my sleep.”
