Wu Yu is a minor cultivator from the Heaven Beyond Heaven Beyond Heaven. He seals his cultivation and memories and enters the mortal world, becoming an obscure little Daoist named Dong Youdao. He loses his memories, with only a string of Wuyu beads remaining by his side. After cultivating for twenty years at the Nanshan Daoist Temple, he becomes bound to an AI Scumbag System. Later, he breaks with the System, forcibly severs their bond, and awakens some of his memories. He learns that powerful beings from the upper realm are making plans throughout the solar system to find the Dao Ancestor scriptures left behind on Earth. His master had charged him with protecting Earth before passing away.
Dong Youdao works hard to improve his strength, secretly striking at geniuses who have descended from the Immortal Realm and covertly sabotaging forces intent on destroying Earth. In the end, he reaches the upper-realm continent by his own efforts and begins a new path of cultivation…
