I've Been Blacklisted for Sixteen Years. Who Decides Whether I Live or Die?

I was frozen in the snow for sixteen years.

In today's world, humans cannot have children, beasts cannot reproduce, and birds cannot lay eggs.

Who has severed all living things from the cycle of rebirth?

The sky is a chessboard, the stars its pieces. Across the Six Realms, who decides whether I live or die?

The earth is a pipa, the roads its strings. Across the eight directions and the whole world, I will stake my life and enter the game.

The gods fall, and the goddess weeps blood.

The day I bury the sky and draw my sword on Heaven-Burying Mountain

will be the day the wasteland is shattered.
