My Buddha

The story is set in ancient times up to Chapter 76, and in the present day thereafter. Their love spans two lifetimes. No household infighting, no melodrama.

"Living in the Potala Palace, I am the greatest king of the snowy lands. Wandering the streets of Lhasa, I am the world's most beautiful lover." Before Ruirui could finish, Dorje eagerly pulled her into his arms, interrupting her in a firm yet gentle voice: "In our next life, I will cast aside these robes and pay no heed to the rules and precepts. I will be content to live as an ordinary person. Even if I have to cross a thousand mountains and rivers and endure countless hardships, I will find you. Then, no matter how far apart we are, I will stay by your side for the rest of our lives. We will walk hand in hand into old age, becoming the one-and-only couple everyone envies."
