From ancient times to the present, wars have raged, Taoist traditions have been lost, and the ranks of their disciples have dwindled.
As the youngest Purple-Robed Celestial Master in history, Su Zhou binds himself to the [Taoist Revival System].
By taking on disciples and raising Taoism's profile, he can earn all kinds of rewards and restore the Taoist tradition.
“Where can I raise my profile and recruit so many talented disciples?”
Just then, Su Zhou comes across a livestream of Zhang Yao's team recruiting people.
Inspired, he starts his own livestream on Douyin:
A Taoist Celestial Master is holding online auditions for disciples!
“You there, dream chaser, what special skills do you have?
You've got three minutes, so show us what you can do!”
[Recruit one disciple with a talent score of 80 or higher: receive the “Primordial Daoist Heart Sutra”]
[Raise Taoism's popularity by 1,000: receive the “Stone Stele for Contemplating the Dao”]
[Recruit a total of 10 disciples with talent scores of 80 or higher: receive the top Daoist secret art, “One Breath Divides into Three Pure Ones”]
Not long after the livestream begins, Su Zhou's popularity soars, along with a wave of negative comments.
Experts and professional fraud-busters alike accuse Su Zhou of “putting on a show,” “deceiving people,” and “tarnishing Taoism”…
Su Zhou doesn't bother to argue. He simply waves his right hand, and a purple divine thunderbolt descends from the sky, blasting apart a tree one meter in diameter.
“I'm deceiving people? Are you sure?”
The experts and fraud-busters: “Dude, you can actually do that?”
From then on, even more “dream chasers” flock to Su Zhou's livestream, pulling out all the stops in hopes of being accepted as his disciples.
After all, what does a piece of a Cullinan matter compared to attaining the Dao and becoming an immortal?
It's so beautiful, everyone comes to see it.
It has great potential. After reading more than a dozen chapters, I feel that the selection of materials is very novel and very interesting. Show them all to me!!!
