I’m a Top Professor, Playing Crazy and Foolish in Squid Game

[No harem, no formulaic plot, no invincibility, no System, no mindless writing, no power fantasy. Read with caution if these bother you.]

Lin Fan, a genius professor at Caiyun University of Science and Technology, plans to act crazy and stupid to avoid prison. Instead, he transmigrates into Qi Xia, an indebted sports student owing tens of millions, and is dragged into a deadly Squid Game as Player 456, saddled with three million in loan-shark debt.

Fortunately, he inherits a talent for mathematics and astonishes everyone in the elimination round. Not only does he successfully deduce the password, but...

Player 001: You’re a prophet. There’s no way you can hide it.

Gang boss Player 444: His eyes are terrifyingly calm. He doesn’t look like an ordinary sports student.

Top student Player 067: Why do I feel like I’ve seen him somewhere before? That familiar way of deriving mathematical formulas...

Just when he thinks he only needs to keep playing the games to win a hundred million, he discovers, to his surprise, that there’s another purpose behind them.

And Lin Fan’s wife seems to be closely connected to it all...

Who would have thought that Player 456, the one acting crazed in the game, would turn out to be the most terrifying player of all?

P.S. This is not a Squid Game fanfic, nor a Ten Days Until the End fanfic.
