I Broke Off My Engagement to the Sword Immortal from the Start, but She Insists on Marrying Me!

[One female lead + pure romance, no angst + aloof sword immortal + aloof people who are hopeless romantics + low-profile System] After transmigrating here eighteen years ago, Chu Ning suddenly learned he had a marriage contract! When he asked around, he discovered she was from one of the Four Great Immortal Sects, and, more importantly, was its sect leader! Marry her, and he’d enjoy a life of wealth and comfort. A woman three hundred years older could give him an empire, and one three thousand years older could make him an immortal! Wouldn’t someone a thousand years older make him an immortal in an empire, more or less? Chu Ning knew that wasn’t realistic. He figured he’d call off the engagement and pursue the path to immortality instead... But the moment he saw the female sword immortal, his heart skipped a beat! She wasn’t some old hag. She was a gorgeous older woman! So what if she was older? That just meant she was mature! But the female sword immortal was so aloof... “You are not to call yourself my fiancé! Your ancestor tricked me into that engagement! I’ll tear it up myself!” “Still thinking about me? I’ll make you become my disciple by force and call me Master!” “What engagement? Something obtained through deceit doesn’t count as an engagement! It’s impossible!” She wouldn’t yield, no matter what. She was ice-cold! But even the coldest heart can melt! Until one day... “I never tore up that engagement. I kept it all this time, so you’ve always been mine...” “Don’t... Don’t call me Master when you kiss me...” “Call off the engagement? What are you talking about? I refuse to marry anyone but you, my husband!”
