[Synopsis]

When he was young, Prince Xiao Jue met Zuo Qingchen at the prince's residence. At first sight, he said:

“I like you.”

The two grew up together, but as the world changed and familiar things faded, their childhood friendship had long since become something else. Neither knew what to make of it...

Xiao Jue's reckless, arrogant behavior drove Qingchen to leave. He went frantic, searching everywhere without success, until lovesickness made him ill!

At last, two years later, he found Qingchen again and began his quest to win him back!

Xiao Jue was always brazen, pushing his luck and knowingly crossing the line.

He used himself to play a cruel trick, pretending to suffer so that Qingchen would be tormented with worry, leaving him heartbroken and helpless...

Xiao Jue: “Qingchen, don't give up on me!”

Qingchen: “…”

[A note] (what I can think of for now)

The story uses flashbacks and alternating timelines. There is a secondary couple with a fair amount of page time, so proceed with caution if that's not your thing. If you don't like it, please don't read it! Thank you!
