I love mountains and seas, and everything in the Classic of Mountains and Seas, especially the Ice Phoenix. Its noble air gives it an uncanny sense of keeping strangers at a distance. On a whim, I decided to use the Classic of Mountains and Seas as the basis for a story about a war between gods and demons.
