Dear readers, the apocalypse has arrived. It is the year 5318 of the Great Xia era. Tens of thousands of aircraft carriers drift across the world’s oceans, formed by rising sea levels. They are humanity’s best refuge in the apocalypse. Across countless islands, zombies, the uncanny, and monsters run rampant. Humanity is insignificant, and so is the protagonist, Xu Moshen. But he has inherited Great Xia’s martial art, Xingyi, and is determined to survive by keeping his head down and fighting his way to safety.
Want to know how to work with AI Xiaobei? It isn’t some all-knowing old man who lives inside your head. It can be right 99 times, but make one mistake and you’ll be surrounded by zombies and meet your end.
Want to know how to pilot a boat through the apocalypse’s raging seas? Xu Moshen starts out as a complete novice, then learns to steer a boat, evade drones hunting him down, and surf across the open ocean.
Want to know how to break through enemy lines with a wingsuit from 5,000 meters in the air? Xu Moshen’s flight goes wrong, and he’s already waiting to die. Luckily, he still has a reserve parachute, but the instructor never told him how to use it. He nearly died.
Want to know how fierce carrier battles can get? On his first flight aboard his uncle’s Longxiang hypersonic fighter, Xu Moshen defeats the enemy’s ace squadron amid a sky filled with lasers and missiles.
Watch Xu Moshen wield his sword in the sky as a lead pilot and rule the seas from an aircraft carrier.
This is the second installment in the author’s Great Xia trilogy, featuring the Xingyi martial arts style and set in the apocalypse.
It also features multiple heroines, but it is not a harem novel. Readers who enjoyed Wanyan Qingxue and Huangfu Ya in the first installment will surely love Bao Guanyin and Xiao Ruhua, too.
If you enjoyed this installment but wish there were more to read, check out the first book, set 5,000 years earlier: Return to the Academy: What Should I Do When the Sword Goddess Pursues Me? It features the Eight Trigrams school of martial arts and tells the million-word story of the protagonist’s past life.
Wing-shaped flight, hypersonic fighter battles, plasma shields, and battles between aircraft carriers create a different apocalyptic battle, as well as the protagonist's form and meaning, swordsmanship, boxing, pace, and combat. They are all in the same vein as the first part, and the battle is even more intense. Recommended reading!
It's quite interesting. This novel is a sequel to "What should I do if the female sword god chases me back when I return to the academy". The former is about ancient times, and the latter is about the end of the world. I personally think it's quite interesting [Blow Kiss]
