Synopsis

Lu Chuanhu’s grandfather once served as a guardian of the imperial hunting grounds under the old government. Back then, elite scouts and veteran hunters were recruited to form forest patrols to protect the royal hunting grounds. Lu Chuanhu belongs to this family and is also the last hunter of his era. His grandfather was determined to train him, taking him into the deep mountains and forests when he was five. There, Lu Chuanhu learned to hunt all kinds of beasts alongside him: wild boars, black bears, and tigers. At fifteen, he had to enter the mountains alone and complete his hunter’s initiation by killing a giant wild boar.

But the last hunter of his era went on to serve with honor in the navy. After retiring, he became an excellent seaman. When he was promoted to first mate, he boarded a ship that would become incredibly important to his life: Ship No. 5!

However, after Ship No. 5 set sail, one bizarre and inexplicable incident after another began to occur: crew members falling overboard, paranormal events, attacks by terrifying sea creatures, and strangely violent storms.

Eventually, they encountered the legendary ghost ship. After that, the ship’s equipment began to fail. They entered the Silent Sea, with no navigation and all their electronic equipment out of commission. They could only use their charts to calculate their position. But after making precise calculations, they were horrified to discover that no matter how they sailed, they couldn’t find land. Instead, armed pirate ships began appearing on the sea. After losing a fierce battle with the pirates, Lu Chuanhu was stranded on a deserted island. With no other choice, he used materials from the island to build a “Green Island” and set sail for civilization. But this was only the continuation of the “bloody camp Sara incident.”

New Books Only! The More Underrated, the Better!

Any new book will do. I’m open to anything, especially books that haven’t gotten much attention. It’s hard being a new author, so let’s not leave them writing to an empty room, okay?

Looking for Sailing Novels

The sea, exploration, treasure, adventure. Humanity has sought to conquer the ocean since ancient times. Seek the treasures and wonders in its depths; explore distant shores and the ends of the world. Looking for seafaring novels, preferably set in the Middle Ages. A System is fine, but not stories about everyone taking to the sea.

I'm Out of Books! Please Recommend Some, One Per Person! Just One!

Does anyone have a good book that's engaging from beginning to end? Ideally, it should hook me right away. I can't get into anything these days. I either give up after a few chapters or lose interest. Waaaah!
