Dream of the Red Chamber + original characters + one heroine + ennobled as a marquis + villainous Jia clan
Huo Qing is descended from Huo Qubing and has mastered the art of the spear. Orphaned young, he became sworn kin to Lin Ruhai and his wife, and never had much ambition to begin with.
But then the emperor was defeated by the Tatars, and the crown prince rebelled. Hearing that Huo Qing was skilled in martial arts despite his youth, the emperor summoned him to the capital and ordered him into battle. In the capital, Huo Qing met the woman fate had chosen for him, and found himself caring about something he never had before.
Huo Qing has his own measure of right and wrong: whoever treats him well will receive the same in return. Watch as Huo Qing stirs up the winds of change across the Great Qing.
