Water Margin Vernacular Version

"Water Margin" is one of the four famous classics in ancient China. It was written by Shi Naian in the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties (some scholars believe that Luo Guanzhong also participated in the revision). This novel is set in the late Northern Song Dynasty. By describing the whole process of Liangshan heroes from gathering together, resisting, being recruited, and finally failing, it shows the turmoil and contradictions of the society at that time.
