The Skin-Sack Ghost

The greatest dream of a ghost who has lived again is to become human. Some envy his ability to travel a thousand miles in a day, some envy his nightly procession of a hundred ghosts, some are jealous of the beauties surrounding him, and some admire him for ruling over an entire mountain. Yuan Zhan says, "What the hell do you know? Do you know how I've survived days when I couldn't drink lamb soup or eat barbecue?

Looking at the present, Westerners' steam obscures the Central Plains, Qianyuan's ignorance blinds its people, and the Old Buddha busies herself with new favorites behind the towering walls of the imperial palace, while scholars wait expectantly atop red-brick rooftops. The princes fiddle with their abacuses, rebels tremble with unease, the heroes of Liangshan Marsh raise the banner of acting in Heaven's name, and ambitious patriots lift the standard of changing dynasties.

Looking further back, gods descend like shooting stars and vie with bloodline aristocrats for supremacy; darkspawn emerge from the earth, proclaiming charity; the Hongmen, which worships the Golden Crow, descends once more to bring calamity; and where do the Martial Sages who seek the highest pinnacle wait amid wind and thunder?

Looking ahead, the six paths of reincarnation will be at peace, the darkness of the gods will disperse, and humanity will rule the human world. One day, the joys of the underworld will spread throughout all the heavens.

Steam + ghosts + decisive killing?

One day, Yuan Zhan will return from death to life, and pass from ghost to human. Then he will take the underworld's pamphlets and sell its life insurance to the whole world!
