The Stranger Sang Straight to Your Heart, Making the Whole Internet Weep for Home

Mo Li transmigrates to a parallel world as a student at a music conservatory. He gets an internship on a late-night music program at a radio station, and when a malfunctioning playback device causes a live broadcast mishap, he’s made the scapegoat.

To keep the show on the air, Mo Li sings “A Stranger,” bringing the whole city to tears: people still hard at work in the dead of night.

“They say that leaving home means wandering, no matter how far away you go~”

“When you miss home, remember to open the window and look up~”

At that moment!

Office workers still pulling overtime, students studying alone far from home, and migrant workers toiling away all called their families with tears in their eyes.

“Mom, Dad, I miss you!”

“Honey, I miss you!”

The whole internet burst into tears, and everyone wanted to go home to see their mothers!

Overnight, Mo Li’s “A Stranger” swept the major music charts!

It sent the entire Chinese music scene into shock.

Wang Feng: This time, my headline... Huh? What song is “A Stranger”?

Jay Chou: Oh! Not bad!

Xue Zhiqian: I’ve studied lyrics for years, and I want to kneel before him!

National Railway Administration: Contact the songwriter. We’re preparing to add it to the collection...
