Mei Jingchu, a 21st-century female special police officer.
She opens her eyes and finds she's transmigrated to the 1980s!
A voice echoes in her ear: "A fated person from the 22nd century of a parallel world can take you back to the 21st century!"
She's skeptical!
With no other choice, she sets out to find "the way home," stuck in the original owner's skin, that of a "con artist"!
A stray dog passes by the door and barks furiously at her. "Even a dog can't stand me!"
"I've borrowed your body! Of course I'll help you fulfill your last wish..."
It all starts with fortune-telling! This time will be different. One reading, and not a peep from anyone...
"If I can't find my way home, I'll become a rich woman in this era..."
"Membership card... VIP... top-ups... points... X-ray vision..." What is all this?
A new young man named Su Huai arrives at State Cotton Mill No. 2. He gazes at her with deep eyes and asks, "Mei Jingchu, you're from the 21st century!"
Mei Jingchu: "..."
Su Huai: "I'm from the 22nd century, from the 22nd century of another parallel world..."
She is lost in the joy of getting ever closer to the "time tunnel" he mentioned.
On the display screen, she sees a scene from a "dream": a woman lies with her eyes tightly shut inside a huge glass chamber!
"Countless living beings pass before your eyes..."
"And yet, are you not one of those countless living beings...?"
