Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of the Shu Kingdom, personally led an army to march south. He first entered from Anshang County, which is under the jurisdiction of Yuejun County, and commanded Ma Zhong's troops to march southeast from Bodao to Zangzhou County, and Li Hui's troops from Pingyi to attack Yizhou. Jianning County, outflanked, led the Chinese army from Bodao County to Anshang and marched to Beishui, pacified the four counties in Nanzhong, crossed to Lu in May, penetrated into the barren area, pacified and stabilized, developed the southwest areas, and planned strategies. He commanded the Shu army to surrender and the governor-general suppressed the rebellion and killed the bandits, and fought seven battles with Meng Huo, the leader of the southwestern Yi tribe, and the rebels in the counties. Meng Huo and his tribe brothers were bewitched by Soochow and the Ban army, and fought with them, winning or losing. They were finally persuaded by Prime Minister Zhuge's benevolent government, appeasement, and policies such as ethnic equality, unity, and a high degree of autonomy for southwestern Yi, and surrendered, and contributed to the stable development of the Shu-Han border.
