Worldbuilding and character setup: As the worlds merge, some humans gain special energy. This energy can turn them into Fusion Beings, but it may also become a key that allows monsters to transmigrate. To keep from becoming a key, people have come up with a solution: hold fast to their true nature, create a persona for themselves, and stick to it.
In show business, when a celebrity’s persona collapses, their career is over. Here, if your persona collapses, you die.
“So why won’t the Savior persona collapse? What kind of savior strips someone naked, hangs them from a flagpole, and calls an influencer to livestream it after rescuing them?!”
Jiang Buyan: “I could have drained him until he was a dried corpse, but I was merciful enough to let him choose how to kill himself after I ruined his life. If I’m such a good person, what else could I be but a savior?”
“Then why did you make sure he could never have children?”
Jiang Buyan: “People like him shouldn’t have descendants. They’d only drag down the quality of humanity. With the big picture in mind like I am, how could I be anything but a savior?”
Like! It's an insult to your eyes, don't look at it!
