When I Was Young, I Didn't Know How Great a Bad Boy Could Be, So I Treated the Villain Like a Treasure

[No canon pairing / The female lead is no shrinking violet (read with caution if that bothers you) / Not a child-rearing story]

Jiang Li, the most powerful fighter in the apocalypse, was forcibly bound to a System.

The System wanted her to raise a villain kid.

As if. Raise a kid?

Jiang Li: “Raise a kid? Not even a dog would... raise one.” (After the System gave her a treatment with a new energy source.) “Fine! I’ll raise one. I’m raising that kid.”

System: [You said you were raising the kid. Why does their corruption level keep going up the more you raise them?]

Jiang Li: “Loving someone is like tending a flower. The one I’m raising is a man-eating plant, so of course I have to water it with some paraquat.”

System: [???]

Thanks to Jiang Li’s efforts, the kid teeters on the brink of turning evil every single day.

(No canon pairing)

Not a traditional child-rearing story. The female lead is the novel’s sole protagonist.
