Liu Tianzhang, a small official in the Wucheng Army Department, was involved in a series of complex cases because of a mysterious painting. He later joined the Tianji Hall and together with his companions uncovered the story of Jiangnan salt affairs, Jianghu forces and the internal conspiracy of the imperial court.
