You were born in Jing State in the third year of Tianhe. Your father and mother shared a deep love, and because your father was frail, you were their only child. In the contest among the Nine Kingdoms, your father passed away from illness when you were fourteen. As the new emperor, will you defend your realm or strive to conquer the world?
The court is rife with long-standing problems. Will you take sweeping action or deal with them one by one? The harem is home to three thousand beauties: how much is genuine affection, and how much is scheming?
Empress: As empress, I have done no wrong to the realm, our ancestors, or our children. Your Majesty.
Consort Zhao: Childhood sweethearts, innocent and inseparable. In this deep palace, one must know how to protect oneself.
Concubine Rou: Every step is carefully calculated, for wealth and glory, and for the honor of my family.
(You can play as the male lead, Jiang Wen, and experience the daily life of an emperor working like a wage slave; play as the empress dowager and lie flat in retirement; or play as a concubine and experience life in the imperial harem.)
The author's writing style is very good, the first few words are enough for me to learn for a year! The plot is very compact, and each character is very three-dimensional, with comprehensive background, family, and personality. Moreover, each character has unique personality characteristics. It feels like they are living people, as if they are really appearing in front of me! I hope the author will work hard to update the text. There is a young reader waiting for updates every day!!! One more curse, the emperor is really a big pig's hooves!! Queen Mother: Lie down. My son has too many concubines. The Ai family doesn't want to see them... Emperor: Big pig hooves! When you meet one, you fall in love with the other!! Concubine: After blowing up the harem to compete for favor, she lay down with her eyes closed...

I like this book very much. I am a young novice writer who is slowly getting started. I hope the next book will improve! If you like palace battles, you can watch it.
