Warhammer: The Knight of Absolution

[Warhammer Original Lore]

The Great Crusade is over. Horus is dead.

Our memories have returned, and the truth that was concealed is beyond doubt.

But we did not flee into the Warp to escape reality because of that pitiful truth.

We did not obey his wishes or fulfill his desires.

We are our father’s traitors. We failed in our loyalty.

But for the sake of humanity, we have forgiven ourselves for our sins.

We should have been knights of evil, but now we are blades that cut down Chaos.

All traitors must be destroyed.

Those who seek to destroy the Imperium will pay for it with their lives.

Can we be redeemed?

Probably not. After all, a bloodied blade can never be put away for good.

Even shattered to pieces, we will forever… serve.

…Until the end.
