Her Butterfly Dream

The day Lin Zhixia transferred schools in her second year of high school, a basketball came crashing into her life. The boy who threw it was Shen Yan, one of the top three students in the science track, number seven on the school basketball team, and a bad-boy heartthrob and academic whiz whom none of the girls at school dared mess with. She drew a line between their desks. He crossed it every day. She passed him a note saying, “Good luck.” He wrote back, “What's my reward?” She made a deal: “We'll talk after the college entrance exams.” He put “Nancheng University” down as all six of his choices. With a hundred days left on the countdown, he leaned over his desk and said, “I'm going to pursue you.” When the final exam ended, he told her on the rooftop, “I won you over.” On university registration day, he stood at the station exit with an umbrella and said, “I'm here to pick you up.” Their first hand-holding was in the rain, their first hug beneath a streetlamp. After their first fight, he stood downstairs from her home and said, “From now on, tell me everything.” Mr. Zhou said, “If you start dating now, you'll regret it later.” Lin Zhixia thought, “Then I'll cry where he can see me.” Good girl x bad-boy heartthrob and academic whiz | Mutual crush | Sweet romance, happy ending | From high school to university
