Knights and Magic? I'd Rather Build a Nation of Mecha!

[Japanese-style light novel + Western fantasy + slow burn + power struggles + genius + farming + no golden finger]

The two most powerful nations on the continent:

One was founded on knighthood and has reached a holy age. Its holy arts combine offense and defense, its holy knights are invincible when fighting as a group, and its healing can restore an endless supply of health.

The other was founded on magic and has reached a magitech age. Everyone has a piece of magical equipment, with sweeping firepower, precision strikes, and limitless damage output.

The two superpowers despise each other’s founding principles and have fought for supremacy for a century.

The male lead is reincarnated as the eighth prince of a small kingdom. Faced with a start this impossibly hard, all he wants to do is curse ○.

“Knighthood or magic? No, I want both!”

Magic and holy arts are mutually exclusive, but the male lead somehow breaks this rule and becomes the only dual practitioner of magic and holy arts.

And the two superpowers have their own plans...

The Magic Kingdom: We’ll give him entry-level magitech. Let him slap the Knight Kingdom in the face!

The Knight Kingdom: We’ll send a lady knight to tutor him. Let him slap the Magic Kingdom in the face!

The Magic Kingdom: Funding, markets, territory, we’ll give him everything!

The Knight Kingdom: Public opinion, intelligence, wives, we’ll give him everything!

Many years later...

The Magic Kingdom and the Knight Kingdom: We’re screwed!
