Back to 1988: From Rice Seller to Wealthy Merchant

Zhang Feng, an overworked wage slave struggling through modern life, wakes up one day to find that he has transmigrated to 1988, a “simpler era” with no smartphones, no food-delivery riders, and no idea what Wi-Fi is. Even more astonishing, somehow he has become the father of five adorable children!

Faced with this sudden identity as “Dad” and an era that is short on material comforts but full of warmth, Zhang Feng has to use every trick he knows. Starting from nothing, he works his way from small-time business to building a brand, from raising his children to cherishing his wife, gradually making a success of their little household. Along the way, he not only learns how to be a proper father but unexpectedly takes on several other roles: entrepreneur, trendsetter, and education whiz. Thanks to his arrival, a small village in 1988 blossoms in a whole new way.
